The Brief
Stroud Electrical Services have carried out work at Frampton on Severn Village Hall for several years, helping the hall committee improve the electrical installation, the energy efficiency of the building, and the day-to-day experience for the regular community groups using the space.
Our Solution
We delivered a series of targeted improvements over time. The lighting circuits were re-zoned and re-switched so that hirers could light only the areas they needed, and PIR sensors were fitted in the toilets so that lights aren't left on when the rooms are empty, saving energy and money for the committee.
We also installed new emergency lighting to bring the hall in line with current regulations, fitted electric heating, and have continued to provide regular EICR testing and ongoing maintenance to keep the installation safe and compliant.
The Outcome
The hall is now easier to use, cheaper to run, and well looked after, with a long-term electrical partner the committee can call on whenever something needs attention.
